  so, i'm thinking i'm going to lose 20 pounds this summer.
that's 2 pounds a week for 10 weeks.

i need a buddy. haha.
no one reads this, though.

good thing i never have to do them again.

i'm testing a week. if i pass,
a) i will never have to test again
b) i will have passed every moves and freestyle test in exactly 6 years.
whoa, that's unheard of. i mean, seriously, no one does that.
i'm proud of myself just for being ready for this test- i passed junior free about 6 weeks ago.

  yeah. so.
i passed junior free, i'm testing senior (4 minutes, double lutz) in about 2 weeks. go me.
i got new music, obviously: rhapsody in blue.
i took the double loop - double loop out of my program. in its place is a double loop - double toe. unfortunately my double toe is cheated. but that's okay.
surprisingly, i can make it through a senior program easier than a junior program. it's probably because i have a minute to a minute and a half of slow music and spirals instead of just fast fast fast straight through (and believe me, this music was fast). probably 4 times out of 5 i can skate it without screwing it up. usually i have one reskate.
yesterday at practice i found a really good way to get consistent on my jumps. first i warm up on everything. then i do my program. then, i do all of the elements in my program with the connecting steps five times each. so, i'll do five flying camels, five double lutzes into double loops, five step sequences into combo spins, and so on. and, when i need to do double - double combinations, i'll do plenty of single - doubles first.
it worked pretty well yesterday.


in other news, i'm screwed up.

  rating communities suck. *shrugs* oh well. i know i'm hot.
so, i looked at the preliminary pair test. *yawn* i could so do 75% of the requirements. oh yeah. it's, like, a single jump (not synchronized), a lift, a pair spin, a side-by-side spin, and footwork. yeah. that would be so easy, if i had a couple of months with a partner, which i don't.
maybe i'll send in a tape to usfsa for the pair auditions. unfortunately, i've only passed my novice free (and senior moves, though), and i'm really not that good. so i probably won't even get an audition, and i'll be out in denver for nothing...

oy with the poodles already. one thing i've been thinking about is if people really understand that me and my group of friends seriously do not care what you think. for example, the christmas ball this year fully rocked, because we did exactly what we wanted to do, without caring about anyone. every other dance i went to, i felt bad at some point, but i just didn't care this time. hell yes. i can only hope my life is like this.

mood: still none!
music: many. i didn't bother counting.
i desperately want to be a pairs skater. unfortunately a) there aren't many boys here, and b) i would need to lose at least 10 pounds, probably more.
oh well. next year, when i'm at college, maybe i will.

bagel w/ egg, cheese, + bacon. yum yum.

fettucine alfredo, and a chocolate bomba.
hostess apple pie.

yuck. i'm full, but i don't feel too disgusting, so that's good. i probably just need to drink a lot of water. have you ever binged, then drank a lot of water? i've never thrown up after i've ate, or used laxatives or anything, but i have just drank a liter of water after eating a lot. is that normal?

i skated for 10 minutes. i guess this means i should go work out later, then, huh?

i didn't study.

so, tomorrow:
same breakfast. lunch i'll probably have some fruit and a small turkey sandwich. dinner i'll have whatever my parents are eating, unless i go out, which will be a salad or pasta (shared with one or two or my friends). snacks i'll have bananas.
exercise: i know i'm skating an hour and a half. maybe i'll leave early and warm up before hand. when i get home, i'll do a half hour of pilates.

music: quite a few.
eaten since my last entry:
a couple of handfuls of nuts-- about 300 calories
drank a half liter of water.

exercise:
i went skating. i sort of slacked off, though. i went through my program once, no jumps. (i'm junior ladies, so 3:30, hardest jump is a double flip.) i started doing double loop-double loops, and i actually landed some cheated ones! i was so excited. my worst jump is the double loop, and i've never landed clean double loop combos, so i was really excited.
i may or may not do pilates today.

studying:
nothing. i don't really need to, my next midterm is tuesday.

no school tomorrow! apparently it's too cold.

so far i've eaten:
-thai noodle soup
-ice cream

exercise:
-i'm going skating for 70 minutes later. should be fun.
-write-up later.

study time:
-none, unless you count a little bit for religion in between exams.

i think i'll either:
a) write my english paper
b) study for english
c) do pilates
d) watch a movie

  -chem midterm tomorrow.
studied from blue book ~ 2 hours or so.
i'm half confident, half not-so-confident.
i think i'm in okay shape. hopefully i'll do fine and then my free response grade will bring me up.
i understand most of the material, it's a matter of remembering tomorrow.
